Believed to have originated from Okinawa, Japan, this variegated plant presents an asymmetry between the white and green sectors not found in other cultivars of Alocasia odora, gageana, or macrorrhiza. The 'Okinawa Silver' also shows a smaller growth habit, with the largest reported specimen reaching 3 feet tall.
